In one sentence, who are we?
Upsilon Process is a company specializing in High Purity Piping, commonly called Clean Piping & Process.
Why Upsilon Process?
It should have been around the Iliad and the Odyssey. Except that everything is already taken from the "ECB", so Ulysses stopped at the first letter of his first name, which is pronounced upsilon in Greek.
You will find in the historic logo the upsilon initial in the hoop. Other references to mythology and Greece are included in the logo such as the frieze, the Spartan helmet or the color code used.
Yes OK... But why did you create Upsilon Process?
Ulysse BORRINI, the founder of Upsilon Process, wanted to offer a new solution of excellence for the (bio)pharmaceutical sector.
To demanding customers, the answer has always been to present technical mastery and operational efficiency.
Particularly since the Covid crisis, investments in the (bio)pharmaceutical sector have exploded and have generated a significant number of projects. It was noticed that current service providers could no longer respond to client project requests and/or that services were losing quality but also efficiency with planning delays.
The challenges of starting a business are obviously numerous, but the first of them is selling your own values to customers. Upsilon Process is Ulysses at the beginning. Then it is thanks to all of my teams that the brand image is strengthened. The second challenge is to develop the operational structure internally so that it perfectly mirrors the commercial discourse. This is followed by the implementation of managerial tools for qualitative and efficient production, and finally using feedback to implement continuous improvement.
What does Upsilon Process represent today?
- Around fifteen full-time employees,
- A turnover of €2.0M
- Around twenty pharmaceutical clients (end clients, external engineering offices, equipment manufacturers, co-contractors)
Who do we work for?
Since the beginning of our activities, our Core Business has been the biopharmaceutical sector.
Tomorrow, other sectors of activity will join our clientele. Considering that Upsilon Process has developed its activities around the notion of excellence, this future clientele will be sought around growing sectors with high added value products, such as for example the energy sector, with hydrogen or semiconductors.
Where do we operate?
Our Workshops are based in Wavre, and Upsilon Process is active throughout BeNeLux and Hauts de France.
